School trip returns after it was stranded in France

A group of 41 pupils had to survive blizzard conditions and sleep on a floor when their school trip France was hit by the weather.
The 13-year-olds from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Alford, Lincolnshire, were taken under the wing of the French authorities when they were left stranded on the continent, enduring snowstorms and temperatures of -10C.
They arrived back home late on Thursday evening and were given Friday off to recover from their experience.
