Seventeen men charged over Lincoln football clash

Seventeen men have been charged with football-related disorder offences after violence at a pub in Lincoln.

Police said furniture and glasses were thrown and a number of people assaulted at The Ritz Pub, ahead of a game with Luton Town in October.

Two women were treated in hospital for minor injuries caused by flying glass, officers said.

The 17 people charged are due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 1 March.
