Teenager dies in A1 Lincolnshire crash with lorry

A teenager has died in a crash involving a car and a lorry on a Lincolnshire road, police said.

Officers were called to the slip road at the A1, Long Bennington, at about 08:15 GMT, after a crash between a Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry.

A 17-year-old female passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old female driver was taken to hospital.

The 52-year-old lorry driver, from Grimsby, was not injured in the crash.

Two other female passengers in the Corsa, thought to be from Lincolnshire, were not seriously injured, a police spokesperson said.

Lincolnshire Police urged anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
