Gainsborough stabbing: Man charged with attempted murder

A 30-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Gainsborough.

Officers were called to a house in Ashcroft Road in the early hours of Sunday where they found a man with stab injuries.

Darren William Bryant, from Elsham Walk, Gainsborough, has been remanded in custody and is due before Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old victim is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

A 15-year-old boy arrested in connection with the attack has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
