Lincoln sex assault case against footballers dropped
Two professional footballers, who were questioned by Lincolnshire Police over an alleged sexual assault, have been released without charge.
Officers began an investigation after they were called to a Lincoln flat on 8 November following a report involving an 18-year-old woman.
A police spokesperson said a "thorough investigation" into the matter had been carried out.
The spokesperson confirmed "it was established no offence took place".
