Injured baby in Lincoln: Man charged with GBH

A 20-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a baby in Lincoln.

The man, who is from the city, was remanded in custody on Friday and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court later.

Lincolnshire Police said the seven-week-old was being treated in hospital and was in a stable condition.

Officers confirmed the alleged attack happened on Thursday but have not released further details.
