Lightning strike church repairs are 'an opportunity'

Help

The minister of a Lincolnshire church which was struck by lightning has said repairs will provide an opportunity to redesign its interior.

The roof of Sutton-on-Sea's Methodist Church was badly damaged when it was hit on 15 June.

Reverend Cecil Mundy said that while repairs would take at least a year, it gave them a chance to make further changes to the inside of the church.
