Landslip causes rail disruption in Lincolnshire

Landslip near Saxilby and Stow Park Rail staff will work through the night so trains can run on Tuesday

A landslip caused by the wet weather has disrupted some rail services in Lincolnshire.

East Midlands Trains said work was under way to rebuild the bank between Saxilby and Stow Park but a normal timetable should run on Tuesday.

Trains between Lincoln and Gainsborough have had to be replaced by buses.

Last week flooding disrupted train services between Nottingham and Skegness and on the East Coast mainline.
