Lincolnshire turkey theft raid prompts appeal

Thieves have stolen a quantity of frozen turkeys from a lorry while the driver slept in Lincolnshire.

The raid took place in a lay-by on the A15 at Dunsby Hollow, near Cranwell, in the early hours of Thursday.

It is thought about five large boxes were taken, although exact numbers have not been established, officers said.

Thieves broke into the back of the lorry and managed not to disturb the driver. Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.
