Lincolnshire driver injured as buses attacked
A driver was injured and vehicles damaged when metal objects were thrown at three buses in Lincolnshire.
The coaches were on the A17 near Beckingham at about 17:20 GMT on Wednesday when they were attacked.
One object, possibly a nut, smashed a windscreen and hit the 39-year-old driver, cutting her head and leaving glass in her eyes.
The police have appealed for witnesses but said the coach company and victim had asked not to be named.
The driver, who lives locally, has been treated and is recovering. No-one else was injured in the attack.
Officers said they were still investigating whether the objects were thrown from the side of the road or a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
