Inmate absconds from North Sea Camp open jail

An inmate has absconded from an open prison in Lincolnshire, prompting a police appeal for information.

Jonathon Gledhill, 29, absconded from North Sea Camp Prison in Boston on 22 August where he was serving a six-year sentence for attempted robbery.

Police said extensive inquiries had been carried out since he went missing and they have now appealed for the public to report any sightings of him.

Gledhill, who is originally from West Yorkshire, has two scars on his face.

He is described as white, 5ft 8in (1.72m) tall with brown hair.

North Sea Camp Prison is a Category D jail for men.
