Leicester trio charged after armed police called to house

Three people have been charged after a disturbance at a house in Leicester.

Firearms officers were called on Wednesday evening following reports of an incident involving a knife and a suspected shotgun.

Police said the incident happened in the Bateman Road area of the city from 23:00 BST until the early hours.

A man, 41, a woman, 20, and a 16-year-old boy, have been charged with affray. The teenager will appear at Nottingham Magistrate's Court on Saturday.

One person suffered minor injuries during the disturbance.
