The Queen's Baton Relay has been greeted by hundreds of people as it comes to Leicester.
It arrived at the Haymarket Clock Tower in the city centre earlier before Leicestershire cricketer Shiv Thakor and local table tennis champion Mike Smith carried it into Abbey Park.
The baton, which has already visited 68 nations, is on its 11th day in England before it crosses the border into Scotland next week.
Its visit to Leicester will end with a celebration in Town Hall Square on later on Tuesday.
