Seven more people have been arrested following three serious assaults in Leicester in January.

In January, two men, aged 25 and 43, were charged following the assaults.

The 25-year-old charged in January was charged with two counts of attempted murder, inflicting grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit murder.

The 43-year-old man has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Det Con Emma Bee said: "Despite the arrests we've made today and those that have been charged we still continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident."

She added it was "not too late" to contact the police or Crimestoppers with any information "no matter how insignificant it may seem".
