Kegworth crash: Researchers developed new brace position

Scientists carefully studied the injuries of everyone who was on board British Midland Flight 92 to see if more people could have survived.

Their examination of the brace position shocked them and led to a radical change of safety systems on planes.

Here, Dallas Campbell explains the research carried out in the years following the crash in Air Crashes: A Horizon Guide broadcast on 15 October 2013.
