Body found in fire damaged house in Leicester

A man's body has been found at a fire-damaged house in Leicester.

Leicestershire Police were called to the property in Aylestone Lane, at about 17:00 GMT on Monday.

The police, the fire service and a pathologist are still at the building to find out what caused the man's death and the fire.

Western Power have cut off the electricity to the house and the area has been cordoned off while investigations continue.
