A profoundly deaf beauty queen from Leicester is aiming to take on the world.

Nehal Bhogaita, 24, is the reigning Miss India UK. She is now travelling to Malaysia to compete in Miss India World.

She said: "I want to be a role model for people like me, deaf or disabled. I want to give them more confidence and tell them they can do anything. You can make your dreams come true."

The competition lasts for a week.
