Loughborough dead woman named by police

A woman who was found dead at a house in Leicestershire has been named by police.

The body of Alexis Mary Durant, 42, was discovered at a house on Gallico Close in Loughborough at 20:10 GMT on 20 February.

Police have started a murder investigation following her death.

Officers are waiting to speak to a 30-year-old man who is being treated in hospital, a spokesman for Leicestershire Police said.

Det Ch Insp Simon Cure said: "I would like to speak to anyone who saw someone coming and going around Gallico Close between Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon."
