Motorcyclist dies in Long Whatton crash
A motorcyclist has died in a collision in Leicestershire.
Police said the motorcycle and a Audi A4 estate were involved in the crash on Ashby Road in Long Whatton, at about 18:00 GMT on Wednesday.
The rider, 47-year-old David Harrison from Whitwick, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Audi driver was not injured.
Officers, who confirmed both vehicles were travelling in the same direction, have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
