Dairy farmers blockade factory in Ashby de la Zouch
Vehicles were prevented from entering the Arla Foods factory
About 300 dairy farmers protested outside a milk processing plant in Leicestershire.
The farmers blockaded the Arla Foods factory in Ashby de la Zouch for about five hours from 19:00 BST.
The protest, organised by Farmers for Action, was part of their ongoing campaign to get a better deal on the price they were paid for their milk.
Farmer Paul Rowbottom said they wanted to recover money lost when prices for milk were dropped earlier this year.
"There will be more action, this week and next week. We will step it up a bit then. This is just a gentle reminder," he said.
"We are still here. Get moving, get something done or else we will be back.
"If you want to be shut down for 24 hours we will shut them down for 24 hours."
