Grand Union canal body: death 'not suspicious'

The death of a man whose body was recovered from a canal in Leicester is not believed to be suspicious, police say.

Officers were called to the Grand Union Canal, near to Corporation Road, before midday on Friday.

Leicestershire Police said a post-mortem examination had been carried out.

The canal was cordoned off to pedestrians and boat traffic while investigations took place on Friday.
