Wollaton bank robbery witnesses sought
CCTV photographs of two men who robbed a bank in Nottingham on Monday have been released by police.
They said the two threatened a cashier and customers with a handgun and hammer at the Wollaton Road branch of Lloyds TSB.
One of the suspects wore a blue crash helmet with a circle and cross pattern and a black "Parka-style coat".
The second man was wearing a similar style of grey or green coat with the hood up and a scarf around his face.
Police said the first man carried a black sports bag and was described as being about 5ft 10ins tall.
They said the men made off with a quantity of cash and left on a red motorcycle towards Ringwood Crescent.
Det Con Dave Prest, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "There will be someone out there who recognises the coats, and motorcycle helmet worn by the men."
No-one was injured in the raid but those in the bank were said to be shaken.
