Hundreds of people joined the search for Mr Aubrey after his disappearance, according to his family.

'Creature of habit'

His sister Clare said the family was growing increasingly concerned as his disappearance was out of character.

She said: "Chris is a creature of habit and wouldn't want to worry people.

"The police say they've never, ever had so much support for a missing person before. It's overwhelming.

"The whole of Hinckley has been out in force. Even people who don't know Chris have been handing out flyers, putting posters up, searching fields and parks."
