Soldiers' faces cast for Leicestershire memorial
Seven trainee soldiers have had plaster casts of their faces made for a new Leicestershire memorial sculpture.
The bronze memorial, Stand Easy, will depict four young recruits taking part in a military drill and will stand in County Hall's grounds in Glenfield.
Glasgow-based sculptor Kenny Hunter said the plaster casts of the students from Welbeck Defence College in Loughborough would help create "something believable".
Leicestershire County Council said the £75,000 tribute would remember the county's servicemen and women.
It is due to be unveiled this autumn.
