Peregrine falcon appears at Leicester City stadium

A peregrine falcon was captured on film during a football match between Leicester City and Derby County on Saturday.

The birds are most often found along rocky sea cliffs and the uplands of the UK.

Andy Waters, from the RSPB, said the falcon could have been hunting for feral pigeons.

He said: "They have fantastic eyesight and would be able to see all over Leicester from the top of the stands."
