Leicestershire bee webcam inspires nine-year-old boy
A nine-year-old boy from Leicestershire has been inspired to take up beekeeping after witnessing life inside a busy hive - thanks to his father.
James Howling's father Gavin Howling originally built an observation hive, made of glass, inside the family home in Melton Mowbray to encourage his son's interest in bees, without any risk of stings.
James is now overseeing his own bee colony, while webcams streaming live shots from the observation hive are proving popular with bee enthusiasts across the world.
