Boy, 8, from Leicester gets A grade in A-level maths
An eight-year-old boy from Leicester has scored an A grade in A-level maths after having passed all six exam modules with the top grade.
Yasha Asley, who attends a state school three days a week, said he "knew all the answers" on the exam papers.
The maths genius is also being tutored one day a week at Leicester University. Yasha will be taking a different A-level maths examination this summer and hopes a degree will follow.
Yasha's teacher, Adam Spurr from Folville Junior School, said: "It's like having a second teacher in the classroom. He's got a brain like a calculator."
Proud father Moussa, who has a degree in the subject, said Yasha was "a good all-rounder".
