Toddler killed in Bradford tipper truck crash named as Isaac Brocklehurst

A boy who died after being hit by a tipper truck in Bradford has been named as two-year-old Isaac Brocklehurst.

The incident happened at 13:10 GMT on 23 February on Valley Road, Shipley.

West Yorkshire Police said the boy emerged into the road between parked vehicles and was hit by a white Scania Tipper truck.

Sgt Ann Drury said: "This has been a terrible incident which has resulted in the death of Issac at such a tragically young age."

Isaac was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ms Drury said: "His family have been left devastated by the incident, and we continue to appeal for witnesses as we investigate the circumstances of the collision.

"Anyone who saw the incident, or either Issac or the white Scania Tipper truck involved just beforehand, is asked to call police."
