A man has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a 37-year-old man in Leeds.

Gerard Adeshida, from Beeston, was assaulted in Lady Pit Lane, near St Francis of Assisi Primary School, at about 18:00 BST on Saturday.

West Yorkshire Police said he had received a head injury and died in hospital on Sunday.

The force said a 27-year-old man is due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court later.

    Four men have been found guilty of trafficking a 13-year-old girl for sex.

    Mohammed Shapal, 22, and 26-year-old Shakeal Rehman from Bradford were unanimously convicted by a jury at Sheffield Crown Court, along with Bekir Rasheed, 36, and Yaseen Amini, 35, from Sheffield.

    The court heard the girl was taken to a hotel in August where she was raped, and three days later was taken to a party where she was sexually assaulted.

    The 19-year-old male driver of the Golf suffered serious injuries, his 23-year-old passenger received face and leg injuries, and a 70-year-old woman and 66-year-old man in the Mercedes suffered slight injuries.
