Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted four different women on the same West Yorkshire bus route.

The man is believed to have committed sexual offences once a month since May - all on the 268 bus between Cleckheaton and Dewsbury.

CCTV of the suspect has been released by police after offences against two 18-year-old girls on 30 July and 19 August.

Detectives have linked the man to two earlier offences on 23 May and 19 June.

Det Con Joe Aspinall, from West Yorkshire Police, said: ''These crimes have left a number of women understandably distressed and upset by what has taken place and we need to identify this man and bring him before the courts."

In the assault on 30 July, the man got on the 268 bus from a stop outside Peacocks clothes shop in Heckmondwike town centre and sat close to an 18-year-old woman.

He sexually touched the woman before getting off at Northgate, Dewsbury.
