Man arrested over Bradford double murder

Sawrey Place, Bradford The bodies of a man and a woman in their 40s were found with serious injuries at the address in Bradford

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a house in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police were called to reports of a man with serious injuries at an address in Sawrey Place at 15:40 BST on Sunday.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On searching the property, police then found the body of a woman with serious injuries, also believed to be in her 40s.

The deaths are thought to be linked and police are treating both as suspicious.

The 37-year-old man remains in police custody.
