Man charged with murder over Leeds apartment fight

A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man died in a fight at a Leeds city centre apartment block.

Adam Rider, 22, from Leeds, was found by police seriously injured at the Citispace building on Regent Street at about 03:00 BST on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination showed he died of a stab wound to the stomach.

Ashley Twist, of Citi Space South, Regent Street, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Another 24-year-old man, who was arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
