Emma Siswick stabbing: Man arrested on suspicion of murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the fatal stabbing of a 37-year-old woman in Huddersfield.

Emma Siswick was found with a serious stab injury at a house on Reinwood Road, Lindley, on Sunday evening. She died later in hospital.

A 39-year-old man, who was detained at the scene, remains in hospital.

He has also been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of two boys aged nine and 11.

The boys, who both suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, have since been discharged from hospital.

The man is in hospital for further treatment and a medical assessment, a force spokesman said.
