A third person has been arrested over alleged offensive social media posts after the death of teacher Ann Maguire.

Mrs Maguire, 61, was fatally stabbed at Corpus Christi Catholic College in Leeds on Monday 28 April.

West Yorkshire Police said a 16-year-old Cardiff boy had been arrested by police following complaints and bailed pending a psychiatric assessment.

A 15-year-old boy from Leeds has been charged with murdering the teacher and remanded in custody.

On 4 May, Robert Riley, 42, from Port Talbot, south Wales, admitted posting offensive messages. His case has been transferred to Swansea Magistrates' Court for sentencing.

Jake Newsome, 21, from the Harehills area of Leeds, was bailed after being charged for alleged abuse. He is due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on 14 May.
