A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Huddersfield.

The man's body was found at a flat in Ashenhurst Rise, Newsome, at 13:00 BST on Friday, West Yorkshire Police said.

His identity has not yet been established, a force spokesman said.

The 30-year-old woman from Huddersfield remains in police custody. A 48-year-old man arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder also remains in custody, police said.

Det Ch Insp Adrian Taylor said the killing was being treated as "isolated" and there was "no threat to the wider community".
