Boy, 3, seriously injured after Leeds window fall

A toddler is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a bedroom window.

The three-year-old boy is in a "poorly condition" at St James' Hospital in Leeds, said police.

He is being treated for internal bleeding and injuries to his liver and eye following the incident at Bayswater Grove in Harehills on Monday night.

West Yorkshire Police described it as a "terrible accident" and are not treating it as suspicious.
