Terrorism officers in Dewsbury and Liversedge arrest two men
Counter-terrorism police have arrested two men after chemicals and suspected firearms were found in West Yorkshire.
Officers searched two properties on Halifax Road in Dewsbury and Penn Drive, Liversedge, in connection with suspected drug offences on Monday.
A number of "potentially suspicious items" were found, police said.
The men, aged 42 and 43, are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to produce Class A drugs and offences under the Explosives Act.
The 43-year-old, from Liversedge, has also been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.
West Yorkshire Police said the investigation was being led by the North East Counter Terrorism Unit, and tests were being carried out on the chemicals and other items.
