A railway line in West Yorkshire, which was closed for four months for repairs to a tunnel, is due to reopen.

Network Rail said Holme Tunnel, between Burnley and Hebden Bridge on the York-Blackpool line, should be operational on Monday.

Engineering works were undertaken to fix problems caused by landslips which distorted the tunnel walls.

The railway operator said the work would allow speeds on the line to rise from 20mph to 45mph.
