Three youths arrested over West Yorkshire stabbings

Two 14-year-old-boys and a 16-year-old man have been arrested after a series of stabbings in Holmfirth.

West Yorkshire Police said they were called to a fight in Victoria Street on Friday.

Three men aged 21, 17 and 19 suffered injuries which police described as non serious. They were treated by paramedics at the scene.

Police said the two arrested 14-year-olds have been released on bail while the 16-year-old remained in custody.

    08:10: M62 delays after accident

    BBC Travel News reports one lane is blocked and there's queuing traffic on the M62 westbound between J23, A640 (Huddersfield) and J22, A672 (Rishworth Moor) because of an accident involving four vehicles.

    Drivers in the area are being warned to expect delays.
