Eight charged over Huddersfield trafficking inquiry

Eight people have been charged in connection with an investigation into suspected trafficking of Pakistani nationals into the UK.

Raids were carried out by the Home Office in Huddersfield in October 2012.

Four men aged 33, 34, 38 and 45 and four women aged 36, 38, 40 and 51, all from Huddersfield, have been bailed.

They are due before town magistrates on 3 March charged with conspiracy to traffic persons into the UK for the purposes of exploitation.
