A1(M) southbound reopens after lorry crash near Wetherby

The A1(M) southbound in West Yorkshire has reopened after a collision involving two lorries closed a three-mile stretch on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at about 02:45 GMT between junction 46 at Wetherby and junction 45 at Boston Spa.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said three people had been taken to hospital following the crash.

The Highways Agency said all three carriageways of the A1(M) reopened shortly after 10:15.
