Nicholas Robinson remanded over Wakefield stabbing

A 27-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a woman in West Yorkshire.

The 28-year-old woman was stabbed at an address on Denhale Avenue in Wakefield on 27 December and taken to Leeds General Infirmary.

West Yorkshire Police said her injuries were not life-threatening.

Nicholas Robinson, of Denhale Avenue, was remanded in custody at Wakefield Magistrates' Court. He is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 13 January.
