Murder charge over Pawel Matras Wortley shooting

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 21-year-old man who was shot in Leeds.

Pawel Jarek Matras was killed at a property in Blue Hill Crescent in Wortley on 8 November.

Abdullah Ullah, 23, of High Road, Harrow, was remanded in custody by Leeds magistrates to appear at the city's crown court on Wednesday.

Mr Ullah has also been charged with wounding with intent and conspiracy to supply cannabis.

Three other men, aged 21, 22 and 22, who were arrested as part of the investigation have been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis.

A 19-year-old woman, also arrested in connection with the shooting, has been bailed.
