Mwila Chitalu murder suspect released on bail

A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man in Leeds has been bailed.

Mwila Chitalu, 30, was found seriously injured in Brudenell Road, near Hyde Park, on Sunday morning and died later at Leeds General Infirmary.

Detectives believe Mr Chitalu, who lived in the area, had attended a party at a house in Ash Grove on Saturday.

The arrested man, from Bradford, has been released pending further inquiries, West Yorkshire Police said.

A total of four people arrested in connection with the attack have now been released on bail.

Anyone who witnessed the incident has been asked to contact the police.
