Hyde Park murder investigation after partygoer's death

A man who was assaulted by a group of men following a party has died, police said.

The man is thought to have been to a house party in Ash Grove in the Hyde Park area of Leeds on Saturday night, West Yorkshire Police said.

He was found with serious injuries in nearby Brudenell Road at 08:48 GMT and died a short time later in hospital.

A murder inquiry has been launched and seven men and two women have been arrested over his death.
