Parents charged over baby's death in Cleckheaton

The parents of a four-month-old girl found dead at her home in West Yorkshire have been charged with her manslaughter.

Kayleigh Mai Sheard's body was found by paramedics at her home in Scholes, Cleckheaton, on Monday evening.

Daniel Sheard, 21, and Lucy Damen, 19, of Foldings Avenue, Scholes, have been charged with manslaughter and causing or allowing their daughter's death.

They are due to appear at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
