A man who filmed himself sexually assaulting women he had drugged after grooming them on Facebook has had his jail term increased.
Husaini Master, 52, of Bradford, West Yorkshire, was originally given a six-and-a-half-year jail term for attacking the two women.
Government legal advisers complained the original sentence at Birmingham Crown Court in July was too low.
Court of Appeal judges said Master should serve a nine-year jail term.
Speaking after the hearing, solicitor General Oliver Heald welcomed the decision.
He said: "Husaini Master groomed two young women through Facebook, he took them to hotel rooms and having plied them with alcohol and drugged them, he sexually assaulted them whilst they were unconscious, vulnerable and defenceless.
"A further aggravating factor was the use of his mobile telephone to film and photograph the offending.
"He then pleaded not guilty to his crimes and put his victims through the ordeal of giving evidence in court, causing them further distress.
"I am very reassured that the Court of Appeal has found that a sentence of six-and-a-half years was unduly lenient, and replaced it with one of nine years."
Master was jailed at Birmingham Crown Court in July following a trial.
He had denied wrongdoing but was convicted of rape and other sexual offences.
Jurors were told that both women had been in their 20s when assaulted in 2011 and 2012.
