Two police officers and two police community support officers have been suspended after the death of a man who collapsed during an arrest at his home.

Nazim Din, 54, collapsed as a 34-year-old man was arrested at the house in Wortley, Leeds, in August. He died in hospital.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating the death.

Police said the arrest, on suspicion of criminal damage, was pre-planned.

The officers, from West Yorkshire Police, were suspended on Wednesday.

The force said: "West Yorkshire Police has suspended two police officers and two PCSOs, as part of this ongoing investigation.

"The suspension of the officers is in response to the initial investigation by the IPCC.

"West Yorkshire Police is providing its full cooperation to the investigation."
