Second arrest over Bradford Holmewood Social Club shooting

A 29-year-old man has been arrested after a man was shot in the face outside a Bradford social club.

The 28-year-old victim underwent surgery after the shooting in the car park of Holmewood Social Club in Broadstone Way on Tuesday.

The man, the second to be arrested over the attack, has been bailed, West Yorkshire Police said.

A 35-year-old Halifax man arrested after the attack has also been released on bail.

The shot man's injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
