Woman killed while paying for taxi in Bradford

A woman was killed when the taxi she was paying for was hit by another vehicle.

A black BMW crashed into the taxi on Mandale Road, Buttershaw, Bradford, at about 17:15 BST on Saturday.

The 51-year-old woman, who has not been named by police, was standing outside the taxi at the time.

A 21-year-old man who was in the BMW and two other males, aged 17 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They remain in custody, West Yorkshire Police said.

Witnesses have been urged to contact the force.
